VISENPACK / PACKAGING GUIDE
Mini Stretch Film: Bundling Uses, Roll Sizes and Handles
Mini stretch film is a compact, narrow roll for smaller wrapping and bundling tasks. It is worth considering when a full-width pallet-wrap roll would be awkward to handle or would cover more of an item than required.
Start with the item you want to bundle
Typical requirements to discuss include grouping small cartons, keeping several compatible items together, or applying a narrow wrap around selected areas of a package. The correct specification depends on the item's shape, surface, edges and handling process.
A narrow band of film is not automatically a substitute for a complete pallet-wrapping system. Trial the proposed arrangement with your goods and confirm that it meets your packing and transport requirements.
Choose the roll and handle together
For VISENPACK mini stretch film, tell us the film width, thickness, length or net weight, and whether a plastic handle is required. Include core dimensions if you need the roll to work with an existing dispenser.
Film color and handle color are separate choices. For example, a transparent film can be paired with a colored handle. Send both preferences in writing so that a handle-color request is not interpreted as a request for colored film.
A practical sample check
- Confirm that the roll and handle fit together and are comfortable for the intended task.
- Wrap the actual item, paying attention to edges and protrusions.
- Check the amount of coverage, film breakage and the finished bundle.
- Review the bundle after your normal handling steps.
Send a useful inquiry
Share a photo of the item or existing packaging, the preferred film and handle colors, roll dimensions, required quantity and delivery destination. If handles are needed, say whether you want them included with every roll or supplied in a different arrangement.
You can also compare mini rolls with full-width hand stretch film. Use the application, rather than the roll's appearance alone, to decide what to sample.
